Dr. James Connor is the Founder of the Concern Mission International  Incorporated.  Dr. Connor’s shepherd’s heart is evident in the tender and compassionate way he leads the growing Organization at Concern Mission.  He is loved and well-respected for his strong leadership and fiery passion for God and Humanity.

 

Following a successful career in Professional Counseling, Dr. Connor worked previously as a manager, banker, teacher, and counselor and has served in the pastoral field for 42 years.   He is a Board Certified Christian Counselor and a member of the Licensed Professional Counselors of North Carolina; the American Association of Christian Counselors, and the Society of Christian Psychologists in America.  

 

Dr. Connor is also an entrepreneur- businessman, and owner of the Angel Touch Fashion Design Store in Charlotte, North Carolina. since Concern Mission International Incorporated's inception in November 1991. Under his leadership, Concern Mission has expanded its Charitable, and humanitarian activities and programs in Africa, the Americas, Asia, and most parts of the world. It has also established academic and vocational schools, orphanages, and churches in cities, and rural areas in Africa, and the United States.

He is married to Lucinda and they have four children, Sincere, Blessing, Humble, and Favor. Dr. Connor has a Bachelor's in Church Administration, and three Master's in Divinity, Human Resources and Organization Development, and  Professional Counseling; He obtained his Doctorate in Ministry.
